I am directed by His Majesty's Principal Secretary of

State for Foreign Affairs to refer to Home office letter

301 443038/3 of March 2né, regarding the importation of

Indian spim into Kaowo, and to invite the esneurrence of

Secretary Sir William Jayneon-Hioke in the terme of the

enclosed draft of a despatch which it is proposed to send

to Lisbon in accordance with the suggestion made in the

last paragraph of that latter.

8. Copies of this letter mad its enolosure have been

sent to the Colonial Office and the India vffice.
